Actera is backed by a solid base of investors and advisors, both Mexican and international, who have extensive experience and a strong business background. Our operating team is led by:
Iñigo MartÃnez Gil

Iñigo has broad experience in the design and implementation of growth strategies for companies in different business segments, as well as in structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions. Before founding Actera, Iñigo worked for six years at Advent International, a global private equity fund, where he was involved in the analysis of investment opportunities, the structuring and closing of transactions and in monitoring the implementation of operational improvements in portfolio companies.

Iñigo also has experience as an entrepreneur: he co-founded Transpart, an executive transportation company. Additionally, he has been a mentor at Endeavor since 2011, where he advises high impact Mexican entrepreneurs.

Iñigo has a Chemical Engineering degree, summa cum laude, from the Univerisidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Carlos Holschneider
Carlos has broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, structured financing and real estate development. Before founding Actera, Carlos was worked for Evercore Mexico Capital Partners, Evercore’s private equity investment arm. Previously, he was part of Navix’s structured financing team.

In 2011, Carlos founded Creditobra, a financial services firm focused on Mexico’s construction sector, which he sold in late 2014.

Carlos has a Civil Engineering degree, from the Univerisidad Anáhuac in Mexico City and an MBA from Columbia University.
